I’m Alex Jade, a Long Island-based tattoo artist specializing in pop culture and illustrative tattoos. Creativity has always been a cornerstone of my life, nurtured by a family who encouraged artistic expression from a young age. Whether I was crafting with my cousins, crocheting with my grandma, or sketching characters from paused cartoon scenes, I was always immersed in art. My early passion for character creation, inspired by anime, cartoons, and video games, eventually evolved into a love for designing my own characters and stories.

My journey into tattooing began with a childhood surrounded by tattooed bikers and metalheads, where I first witnessed the artistry of ink. Those early experiences sparked my fascination, leading me to experiment with sharpie tattoos and flash designs. After college, where I studied psychology and gender studies, I rekindled my artistic passion while working at the front desk of Wyld Chyld Tattoo. It was there that I was offered an apprenticeship, diving headfirst into the craft. With the support of talented mentors, I discovered my niche in creating pop culture-inspired and pinup tattoo designs, blending my love for storytelling with the art of tattooing.
